Is Blogging Dead in 2024? The blogosphere has become so saturated with billions of blogs that one would begin to wonder and ask if it is worth it to start a blog.

Today am going to share with you my experience as a blogger and also provide an answer to your question of whether blogging is worth it or not and why you should start a blog for yourself.

If you are a student like me, you must have read online that it is normal for students to blog and have a side hustle, Nowadays everybody wants to blog because it is common that bloggers are the real guys making money on the internet

but yet many are still brainwashed to believe that blogging is dead and not worth it but a total waste of time and resources I think otherwise and that is the reason why you should consider reading this post till the end..

Is Blogging Dead in 2024?

A Close friend of mine once came to me and asked “Is it worth starting a blog in 2024?“, he would have loved to blog like me but is scared of failure and high competition, I just shook my head and told him not to be discouraged

To all the naysayers claiming that blogging is dead and that it will become irrelevant to start a blog, I commend you for your service.

Blogging Is Not Dead In 2024. However, Things Have Changed

Yes you got me right and I am glad to tell you blogging is not dead and neither will it die even in the next decade However things have changed over the years

However, there are 3 basic reasons why people choose to blog

• To make money online
• To promote your business
• Just for fun!

Now, if you’re starting a blog to make money, promote a business or just for fun you need to adapt to the new way of blogging, You need to, learn how things work

With the popularity of YouTube and online video in general, as well as image-focused social media platforms like Instagram,

Many people are unsure if internet users are interested in reading blog posts at all anymore and most times people prefer audiovisual information.

However, as I mentioned earlier blogging is not dead but still alive so you shouldn’t hesitate to start a blog Nevertheless, I won’t deny the fact that Blogging is saturated and very competitive now

Nowadays there is too much information in written format on the web, Google is highly interested in info-graphics content in that way Google sees your content as valuable

Not everybody is a text-based reader so your blog posts don’t have to be full of text because it will create a bad user experience and they are going to feel bored on your website

Also include videos that help get your message across to your audience, doing all of this is going to make your content amazing and there is a high tendency for you to get more  social shares and more people to link to you

Cultivating the habit of storytelling is essential by using words like ‘you and I’, ‘We’, and ‘Us’, hence its creates a feeling of eye-to-eye discussion with your audience

Everyone loves stories and most especially when it involves real-life situations and not fiction, a memorable blog post must be fun to read. Storytelling helps you hit the mark.

Digital marketers can not do without email marketing, it is a vital strategy for people who wish to advertise and sell their products and services as the saying goes “the money is in the list”

An email list is another good way to keep your blog visitors constantly coming from your blog, all you have to do is sign up with any Autoresponder such as Getresponse or MailChimp,

so you will collect emails from visitors on your blog and send them emails whenever you have products to sell

You can also use push notifications if you can’t afford autoresponder maybe if you don’t have products to sell but you want to have your visitors keep visiting your site

A push notification is a message that pops up on a mobile device. App publishers can send them at any time; users don’t have to be in the app or using their devices to receive them.

They can do a lot of things; for example, they can show the latest sports scores, get a user to take any action, such as downloading a coupon or let a user know about an event, such as a flash sale.

The aim of writing great content is to make them reach a large audience, of course, you can not sorely depend on Search engines for your traffic because you may not get the desired traffic you wish for

Traditionally people depended on text-based content but the blogosphere has evolved now, people love to watch videos, and some prefer to listen to audio information, your blog content should be published everywhere

Go to medium and publish your content, do the same thing on Instagram and Twitter and in that way, you will explore your content to have a larger audience

Nowadays People spend time watching videos on YouTube which is another great social network to drive traffic, I have constantly seen a lot of bloggers driving massive traffic from Pinterest by sharing their content there

If you follow all these tips I have explained here you will come to believe that blogging is not dead but still works and it is worth it to start blogging.

6. Utilize Telegram

Nowadays, due to Facebook and Twitter Ads limit with Adsense, Bloggers are moving away from these social platforms and adopting Telegram to promote blog content for traffic.

I know a friend of mine who makes about $30 to $60 daily with just 1,500 page views with the help of Telegram he gets more Ad clicks even with a few page views.

Below are some of the steps to follow if you want to adopt Telegram for your blog

• Create a Telegram Channel or group (for best results, use a Telegram Channel and make it public)
• Add members to the telegram channel, the more members you have the more likely you get good results
• Link your Telegram channel at the beginning of each of your blog posts so that visitors to your blog can click and join. You can also promote your Telegram channel via WhatsApp TV
• Now that you have gotten enough Telegram members, start sharing some of your blog articles to your Telegram channel.
• You can choose to share 2-3 articles by morning when CPC is high and 2 articles again in the evening
• For best results, your content must be informative and able to solve people’s problems
